I'm Mike. Born and raised in Boston, MA. I'm a Founder who has visited 59 of the 193 UN member nations, with a plan to try to visit them all before I check out of this world.A skiing accident in 1996 unexpectedly shifted my aspirations from becoming a professional athlete (never realistic) to the tech world. I couldn’t walk at the time, so I got a computer. The Internet was just emerging—shiny and new. That moment turned out to be a fortunate twist of fate, and I’ve been immersed in all things technical ever since.My early street cred was in finance with JPMorgan, followed by 14 years in healthcare information technology. You know—the so-called “evil” insurance companies.In 2016, something crazy happened: I left my corporate day job to become the Founder of my own startup, armed only with an idea in my head and some savings. It worked and grew into a successful operation, expanding exponentially over the years.The experiences I’ve gained along the way are enough to fill multiple lifetimes. Founder life has its ups and downs, but it teaches you more than you’ll ever learn in those Wharton MBA classrooms.Now it’s time for another chapter and transition. What’s next? I’m eager to find out. Whatever it is, it’ll be something I’m passionate about—that’s for sure.
